Alex Trebek[]
When Adam West makes Alex Trebek read his name backwards to send him back to the 5th dimension, it's a reference to DC Comics' Mr. Myxyzptlk, who can only be sent back to the 5th Dimension if he's tricked into saying his name backwards.
We are well aware of the connection. However, this is one of the things that was once considered 'obvious' and not noteworthy that we'll reconsider.
