About the whole ancestors made up he made most of them up before his father's death in season five ScarletScarabX 15:24, October 4, 2009 (UTC)

We're treating it as Peter having a 'common ancestor'. The theory being that the McFinnegan's branched off from the Griffins sometime in the past and have reconnected with Peter meaning he is actually both a Griffin and a McFinnegan even if Francis isn't his biological father. --Buckimion 15:48, October 4, 2009 (UTC)

It always seems like it is forgotten that Mickey is Stewie's and the other Griffin kid's grandfather. Even though he is a one time character. He is still peter's version of Carter Pewterschmidt. Colin2k41 (talk) 18:55, May 31, 2013 (UTC)Colin2k41

We are not putting in that slop for a one-time character. In fact, given that the premise is only that the show is a production (read the policy guideline page on your talk page.) I am damn well tempted to remove it from all pages and the only thing keeping it in is the consistency. We are not giving a family tree to Stan Thompson either. Our purpose on this wiki is to document appearances and roles within episodes. --Buckimion (talk) 19:27, May 31, 2013 (UTC)
