Castellaneta Note

Not sure if this is noteworthy or not, but the Comic-Con interview mentioned that the first time Dan Castellaneta said his line for the "The Simpsons Guy" episode, the entire writing staff erupted with applause, according to this article [1]. Also, I can't edit it because the page is blocked. ~Curious Poker Chip 10:13 p.m. May 13th, 2014 (Pacific)

Not really noteworthy. I've seen too many table reads where they do that a lot. --Buckimion (talk) 17:30, May 13, 2014 (UTC)

Harry Shearer's absence

I noticed that when this episode was announced, Harry Shearer's name was missing from the guest list. Plus, none of his characters have spoken in the trailer; this is noticeable during the Kang and Kodos scene, only Kodos (who is voiced by Dan Castellaneta) speaks, but Kang (voiced by Shearer) remains silent. Should it be safe to assume that Shearer refused to do this and his characters will be silent like on The Simpsons Ride, or should we wait until the episode airs to know for sure? I mean, they could always get someone else to do his characters. - Jasonbres (talk) 21:18, August 10, 2014 (UTC)

I'm always in favor of waiting until the broadcast, but unless something changes in the press release, he may or may not be treated as a "Guest Star." --Buckimion (talk) 00:10, August 11, 2014 (UTC)
