Is this change correct? The changed version is what it sounds like to me, but I don't have any source to back that up. FS 13:15, 16 Aug 2005 (UTC)

Season 9 version and Mila

Was the change all aesthetic, or did they finally have Mila record to replace Lacey?--Jack's Posse Fic 01:01, February 15, 2011 (UTC)

I'm not sure if even Lacey sung originally. I think Mila only finally worked up the courage. --Buckimion 01:05, February 15, 2011 (UTC)

Truthfully, I don't hear Meg in either version. It's Chris and Brian I hear. I'm excluding solos of course--Jack's Posse Fic 01:09, February 15, 2011 (UTC)

The theme song has been recorded AT least four times just for the show that I am aware of. The original, re-recorded for season 4, the corrupted version (may have reused some background vocals) and the recent re-recording. Seth managed to talk everyone in the family into recording the most recent version, something Mila had not participated in previously. --Buckimion 01:15, February 15, 2011 (UTC)

The whole family wore yellow suits and tophats.

Chris and Meg are the only people who wore 2 hats.

And the point being? It is certainly not noteworthy. --Buckimion (talk) 20:23, July 6, 2013 (UTC)

It is most likely Tara Strong, she is the actress for the singing voice of Meg. Matt Seay (talk) 01:29, January 18, 2014 (UTC)

By Season 9 we know it was the entire regular cast. --Buckimion (talk) 01:52, January 18, 2014 (UTC)

So it is now Mila Kunis on the opening theme now? Matt Seay (talk) 02:13, January 18, 2014 (UTC)

Yes. --Buckimion (talk) 02:29, January 18, 2014 (UTC)

Well that clears that up then....Matt Seay (talk) 02:43, January 18, 2014 (UTC)

Tony Sirico?

Just making sure, did Tony Sirico sing in the openings for "In Harmony's Way" and "Christmas Guy"? On close listen, it does sound a little different, although it also sounds suspiciously like the opening for the first three seasons where Chris was notably singing louder than the rest of the cast, only on that version Brian also sang above everyone else during the final line. Maybe they just dubbed out Brian's vocals and added back in Chris' to make it sound like someone else was singing? I'm sure Sirico was part of it, but I'm taking it with a grain of salt until I see official evidence. General Ironbeak (talk) 22:57, January 15, 2014 (UTC)

Although I no longer remember the original source, the report of him recording the theme song had been around prior to the Brian's death affair and until further evidence contradicts it, I am satisfied with the edit. --Buckimion (talk) 23:01, January 15, 2014 (UTC)
