Notice that Dianne drops the gun, which would have her fingerprints on it, before she falls off the cliff. This makes it likely that Lois would provide the police with the evidence that Dianne was the killer and not Tom, as this is the first peice of difinitive proof, not circumstancial.
Good, logical thinking. I pretty mush spelled out the same argument on the talk page for Diane although I neglected the fingerprints on the gun. Reliable witness testimony from Lois WOULD count for more than most people realize, that's why attorney's try so hard to discredit witnesses and in this case they would most likely fail as Lois had nothing to gain. --Buckimion 19:10, October 3, 2010 (UTC)
