Terminator

The Terminator series is a science fiction franchise encompassing a series of films and other media concerning battles between Skynet's artificially intelligent machine network, and John Connor's Resistance forces and the rest of the human race.

Skynet's most well-known products in its genocidal goals are the various terminator models, such as the original "Terminator" character, portrayed by Arnold Schwarzenegger in the first film. Schwarzenegger also portrayed other Terminator characters; however, it is made clear that these are different models.

In "Brian in Love", a movie screen shows a parody Terminator 2: Judgment Day in a drive-in theater. Peter Griffin can't see any of this because his car is turned in the other direction.

When Meg Griffin approaches Mayor Adam West in "The Story on Page One", he asks her if she is Sarah Connor, the heroine of the franchise.

In "Lois Kills Stewie", Lois dresses up like Sarah did in Terminator 2: Judgment Day, also using artillery like those seen in the films.

In "Untitled Griffin Family History", one of Peter Hitler's congratulatory greetings is "Yeah Germinater. I'll be back."

When the time machine first forms Brian and Stewie in the past in "Road to Germany", it starts as a sphere in the same manner as used in the Terminator movies.

During filming of Terminator Salvation, Christian Bale became angry at director of photography Shane Hurlbut, swearing at him and threatening to leave the film. His tirade arose after Hurlbut supposedly walked into the eyeline of Bale during filming of the most emotional scene of the film. The tirade is also laden with profanities. In the first airing of "Ocean's Three and a Half", the scene is parodied, where now Peter is the target. This was removed in all future airings and versions of the episode, absent even on the DVD release.

When Miley Cyrus, already revealed to be an android, is shot on the top of the building in "Hannah Banana", her skin shreds to reveal herself to resemble The Terminator. This continues when she plummets from the roof and is dead, with her red eye slowly going out. When she destructs, only her arm is left as in the movie.

Future Joe's crushing of a skull in "Back to the Pilot" is a notable scene from the first film.

When the guys watch The Terminator at The Drunken Clam in "Cop and a Half-Wit", he appears demanding to have sex with a woman's housekeeper. She recognizes him as simply Arnold Schwarzenegger and insists she doesn't have a housekeeper. When one shows up, Arnold accuses her of lying to him. Arnold also interrupts a cutaway gag about a designated driver at a party making the same demand for sex with the housekeeper.

Peter confuses an exterminator for the Terminator in "Big Trouble in Little Quahog", unaware that Lois herself is a Terminator.

"PeTerminator" borrows heavily from the film franchise, especially Terminator 2.
