Tom Tucker is the anchorman for Quahog 5 News. He's a quite narcissistic, handsome, moustachioed man who recaps news in pleasing baritone. Tom is not one to be politically correct, nor does he take into account the feelings of anyone, including broadcast partner Diane Simmons. He is married to Stacy Tucker and is the father of Jake Tucker, whose face is upside-down.

Trivia

  • His house is full of pictures of him, including one of him in a wedding dress. This could be because he hates his wife, Stacy, and is ashamed of his son Jake's face.
  • When he kisses women, his moustache tickles them only slightly, only slightly.
  • Sometimes he walks really slowly down corridors, just for the hell of it.
  • He once interviewed Dustin Hoffman by splicing in footage of him pretending to ask him questions into clips of Hoffman appearing in movies, such as The Graduate and Hook. Tucker promised to help bring Peter Pan to the fictional Hook (Hoffman), saying that he would "keep an eye out for him."
  • He has mistaken an extremely obese Peter for Mercury, the planet closest to the sun. What Mercury was doing on the wharf, he hadn't the foggiest.
  • He frequently picks up hookers.
