The US Now Open is the first leg of tennis' Grand Slam in Quagmire's tale of being a tennis prodigy in "Tales of Former Sports Glory", being the original name of the US Open.
Quagmire manages to beat his chief rival, Head Bansen, despite being handicapped by Bansen's personal chef and the umpire. He would later go on to win the Grand Slam by playing at Wimbledon.
By the time he starts to lose his edge, the match is now renamed the US Open, and he is alluded to have caused 9/11 with his errant serves.
