Hi and welcome. Looks like AdamWe got back with you before I did. Let me know if you have any questions. John Reaves (talk) 23:06, 25 June 2007 (UTC)
The edits you're looking at making can be done via the MediaWiki:Sidebar page, which you should have access to, being a sysop and all. Feel free to add whatever you like. http://www.freewebs.com/justkevi/Adam%5FWe%5FIcon.png Adam We (talk)
I removed the colors mainly because User:John Reaves was trying to get them removed. He and I had some differences of opinion about how the wiki ought to be run, and rather than get into a fight about it, I took the color scheme away. If you think it'd be helpful, you're more than welcome to put the color scheme back, and make adjustments. I would recommend consulting with John first. http://www.freewebs.com/justkevi/Adam%5FWe%5FIcon.png Adam We (talk)
I don't have a problem with color, just the specific colors we were using. I found them to be very bright an intrusive. If I recall, some other disliked it too. John Reaves (talk) 00:34, 27 June 2007 (UTC)
It's a little too bright for my taste, but it does look much better. it also looks like some of the colors aren't uniform, they change slightly, it could just be my eyes playing tricks on me. Definitely an improvement though. I'd still give it a few tweaks though, a little less bright.--CannedhamX 22:13, 10 July 2007 (UTC)
The orange felt more family guy-ish to me, not really sure why. Maybe I just need to get used to it... or stop complaining and add some content like in the olden days... If your happy with it, keep it. Unless someone else has any comments? I guess it works for me, but I did like the orange better. --CannedhamX 01:15, 12 July 2007 (UTC) Looks fine to me...as long as it's not as bright as the old colors. Hi there -- I'm working on a project for Wikia to help link the TV wikis together, and encourage people to see this as one big site, rather than a lot of little wikis. I'd like to post this footer at the bottom of the main page:
The gaming wikis have started a similar project, and they've seen a lot more cross-traffic. Would it be okay to post this at the bottom of the main page here? You could also feel free to edit it, to fit in better with this community. -- Danny (talk) 23:55, 14 September 2007 (UTC)
- Hi -- I haven't heard from you, so I guess it's okay with you? I'll add it... Please let me know if there's any problem. Thanks! -- Danny (talk) 14:07, 17 September 2007 (UTC)
Thanks for taking care of those. :)

Hi there. I just wanted to let you know that this wiki is being featured over the next two weeks in Wikia's spotlight, which are the series of square links that you see near the ads on every wiki hosted by Wikia. I'd like to help out with welcoming new users so that they're introduced to the help pages right away, and let them know that there are other folks here willing to help out if they need a hand. Do you have a welcome template for anything like that?
Also, the wiki could use a wide logo for the Quartz skin -- I'd be happy to make one for you. Likewise an icon for the URl bar on the browser. Let me know if I can help out with that stuff! —Scott (talk) 04:12, 27 November 2007 (UTC)
Hi, I asked this somewhere else, but no one noticed. I'd like to write a review of Family Guy, which contains some criticisms. Where can I put this? I'm not trying to be a troll or anything, just speaking my opinion. Thanks, He is in the shadows... 23:38, 30 November 2007 (UTC)
Hi again. I just wanted to let you know that I've created some templates to help better welcome new users to the wiki. template:welcome is for contributors with a username and template:welcomeanon is for anonymous users. What I usually do is go through Recent Changes and take a look at what the new visitors have been adding. Any username of IP with a red link hasn't been welcomed (or if they're vandal, warned) yet, so I place template:cont on the user pages just so it's easier to filter out who's new and who's not. I also created template:warning and template:vandal for those users whose edits are unconstructive. Let me know what you think and if you've got any questions. The spotlight for this wiki is still in rotation for another week, so I hope I can help out with directing new users to areas where they can be most helpful. —Scott (talk) 01:03, 4 December 2007 (UTC)
Hey, Grande13! If you're not too busy, do you want to become a member of The Family Guy Helpers on Wikipedia? I got a branch on the Wikia and Wikiquote. What do ya' say? --BrianGriffin-FG 19:26, 8 December 2007 (UTC)
Hi there! I'm working on a project for Wikia to figure out the impact of turning off anonymous edits on wikis. Based on the evidence I've seen so far, it looks like having people log in before editing makes a wiki community better. It helps editors to communicate, and it makes people feel that they're invested in the project. It doesn't seem to deter people from editing -- in fact, the wikis that ask people to log in seem to do better overall. As a bonus side effect, it helps to cut down on random vandalism.
We're going to turn anonymous edits off for a handful of wikis, and see if that helps the communities to grow. If it turns out not to be helpful, we can turn them back on again. I think this wiki could benefit -- you've got a nice group of logged-in editors, and a lot of anonymous contributors that could participate more fully if they had user names. Would you be interested in turning off anons for a little while? -- Danny (talk) 19:42, 3 February 2008 (UTC)
- Cool... As far as I can tell, you're the only admin who's been active since last July. Who do you think I should check in with? -- Danny (talk) 17:21, 7 February 2008 (UTC)
Main Page Transition
My name is Nathan and I'm a wikia helper with the entertainment team. We're going around helping wikis transition to the new style of main page that will be necessary to support the upcoming ads. I've created a draft of an idea for your main page in order to show the basic layout. Optimally, we'd like to get all main pages rolled over to the format as soon as possible, so feel free to use mine, or improve upon it. If you have any questions you can reach me via my talk page.
