- The scene where Peter walks through a series of automatic doors to get at his girlie magazines is reminiscent of the opening to the 1960s situation comedy Get Smart starring Don Adams.
- Chris lights several fireworks, and says to Meg “You’re David Koresh and I’m a heavy-handed FBI agent” before throwing them at her, referencing the Branch Davidian cult leader that instigated government action at Waco, TX that resulted in the death of himself and 75 followsers.[1]
